Richard & Micaela

Before I take a break for Christmas, I wanted to get a few images out from this beautiful wedding from earlier this month! Richard, Micaela and their families were so sweet, so much fun and such a pleasure to work with. The Orion Event Venue in Lindon, UT is a gorgeous, light and bright venue and perfect for an indoor wedding like this one. Please enjoy some highlights from this special day.

Aren’t they just beautiful?? Such a stunning bride and groom.

They decided against a first look, and I love being able to capture a groom’s reaction to seeing his bride like this. This ceremony was extra special as it was done in both English and Spanish, as much of her family is from South America. It was short and sweet, and so so beautiful.

It was a joy to meet and work with both sets of parents.

The bridal party! I am just in LOVE with this bright, royal blue color they chose! So crisp and clean! And this cutie pie - how precious is she??

Their family and friends were absolutely the best when it came to having all of their portraits done. Everyone was on time and exactly where they needed to be when they needed to be there. We flew through family portraits! And that left us plenty of time to snap a few bride and groom portraits. We did have to work quick as it was quite cold outside! But they were champs and never complained. I could feel the love between them while photographing them.

I could just sit and take detail and ring shots all day. It never gets old. Their dinner was running a smidge behind, giving me extra time to spend on some details, which I wasn’t mad about.

Check out their dessert and coffee bar! So many delicious treats!!

Their cake was so simple and so stunning. I love that they incorporated the same blue into the flowers on the cake.

First dances - bride and groom, bride and dad, groom and mom. And my second photographer snapped this precious photo of the bride embracing her mom.

These people know how to party! It makes me want to visit Argentina and hang out with people like this! Their DJ did an excellent job and everyone had a blast dancing the night away.

Hands down, the funniest part of the night. The bride threw the bouquet, but she threw it too high and it landed in the tulle that was draping the ceiling. The ladies’ reaction caught from 2 angles shows their reactions perfectly!

I love that they decided to go with these fiber wands! We decided to do a fun one inside (where it wasn’t freezing) with everyone, and then we moved out for their send-off.

It was a wonderful evening, super chill and so gorgeous. I wish the bride and groom the best for their new lives together!
