The Taylor Family

Gone are the days of stale, boring family portraits. I’m loving today’s style of more fun and relaxed sessions. Sure, I’ll get your classic portrait for your Christmas card and for you to hang over your mantle, but we’re going to have a lot of fun while we’re at it. Moms, your kids are only little for a short time, and they change so fast it seems like it’s hard to keep up. Don’t you want to remember their fun little personalities as they are right now? A family portrait session with me can help with just that. I come with lots of ideas for games and ways to help your family loosen up, because we all know it’s totally normal to have a stranger shoving a big black lens in your face telling you to smile “naturally.” I also give your family permission to explore some of your own ideas. If your kid wants to be goofy and stand on one leg on a log, or if your teenage boy wants to climb up in a tree, let’s do it! Let them be a part of the session share their ideas as well. It’s amazing how much they’ll be willing to cooperate a little bit more if they feel like they’re being seen and heard. And when your kids are in a good mood, that puts mom and dad in a good mood, and when everyone is in a good mood, beautiful photos are captured and wonderful memories are made.
